Fever

March 3rd, 2006 by rajendra

My little fella got the fever…ansel just isn’t well this week.Up until today he still has coughing and quite a fever..He had the highest temp three days ago..And we took him to hospital at 12.00a.m! I was very worried when I looked the temperature at my thermometer. He didn’t go to his school and I stayed home with him. Already give him paracetamol, the temp went down abit but he still quite warm.

You know, I took him to three different doctors! And the last one was better..the treatment made my baby better than before..I don’t wanna compare about treatment in Indonesia and in UK….but still disappointed with that. Could you imagine three different doctors with three different treatments ( which is three different bloody brands medicine)!!  I just don’t get it…Is there any standardisation about basic medicine in here?

Playgroup

February 25th, 2006 by rajendra

Dsc01125_1Ansel started his playgroup since last month, first time there he was on the playground the whole time. He was busy drawing a picture with watercolour, building sand castle and up and down the horse rocker but still kept his eyes on me or his nanny.

The second time I thought I brought my mom along. Then when Ansel was occupied with playing with other kids I sneak up. He did cry looking for me for a bit but then got over it and was behaving nicely until the end of class. Mean while I was waiting in the car.

Then I knew… Ansel would be this clingy crybaby when I was around. But he was nice and so adorably cute when I was gone.

Dsc01138 Now he’s very enjoy with his routine every tues and thursday to go to school…He loves play basket ball and painting..So,now  I would be free to get a hair treatment or something :D

Whoaa…….!

BwWhoooaaaa…….what a week!!!
We finally had a schengen visa and were in Europe for almost 3 weeks! (Alhamdulillah…)
We had so much good times (and bad times also :p ) there… Amstedam, Berlin, Rome, Geneva,Barcelona, Madrid and Paris! Just 3 of us! hehehe…What an experience..!!!!

The best times situations were…
1. Obviously the scenery along the way in every cities were hilarious! The historical buildings, the place, and urban design so brilliant!
2. To my great surprise, I met my old friend ( my classmate in highschool actually!) in Berlin!! Achmad Tanjung or ‘Lele’ nice to see you again, mate!!!!
3. Berlin was the best city on our trip… Beautiful urban design, thriving and vibrant city, hot spot everywhere, good public transportation. You can see the difference between east Berlin and west Berlin. So many historical story there.
4. We stayed at P’ Rudi’s house in Den Haag. A realy nice family and place.. Thank’s for guided us pak!!!
5. The second best city was in Barcelona. Beautiful city! Love the colour of those buildings, love the ‘Gaudi’s buildings, love the ‘Guell Park’ (Ansel love the place too), and also Yudi, he was so lucky to take a film ‘Barca players’!! hahaha..

The bad times were…
1. Sooo tired of course… :p ( can you imagine travelling with baby?? … hehehe)
2. So dissapointed with public transportation in Paris..! There’s no access for my baby’s buggy! If they were, we had to talk with the metro’s staff first, and let me in. Huuu…repotttttt yeeeee…

the worst trip everr…

August 19th, 2005 by rajendra

My Saturday morning was a bit windy..I was just snuggling up into my warm duvet and suddenly I realised we had to wake up early and hurry up went to Euston Station. We went to Liverpool.

We bought our breakfasts in station and I noticed the weather was still mostly cloudy.

Wetwetat_chinese_arch_2By 9am we arrived in Liverpool. Wow…! From its humble beginning as a fishing village almost 800 yrs ago, Liverpool is today one of Britain’s principal cities: vibrant, fun and full of culture. The second city after London.

Hmm…no wrong with the city.
The wrong is the weather was very windy and raining all day long…!

Back to good to London around 10pm, we quick paced back home, trying to warm up againts the chilly, windy and wet conditions….:)
Ansel was very tired..He was sleeping all night long..
Nite..nite..my lil’ dear..

Weekend Recap

August 12th, 2005 by rajendra

I’ve been really lazy lately, so I just recapping everything happened on one journal…:p

Dscn2495On Friday, Ansel was so clingy with me all day long, so in the evening we took him along to Canary Wharf. The new one place of the most highly specified urban areas in the world. For attention to detail both   on the building and the streets-cape, it is virtually impossible to find contemporary comparison.
Blimey….so brilliant!
Dscn2490_2The place is thriving and a vibrant  business district with a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafe and bar promenade.
We just bought a dozen Krispy Kreme’s dough-nut and the baker’s man gave a hat to Ansel…hehehehe…

Univ_of_oxfordThis sunny but a bit windy, me, Ansel and Yudi went to Oxford. Our coach started to leave London at 9.30am. The trip was a little over 1 hour…the scenery was so lovely countryside with all the farms animal. Ansel wanted me sang a Old MC Donald had a farm again and again..:D
When we arrived in oxford, we definitely noticed how pretty the city was. The old buildings, the roads all very nice and elderly. We met Ruli at the station. He’s the one who guided us along in Oxford…:D Thanks soooo much Rullll…!

Dscn2520Sunday was a full of cleaning chores. We just stayed at home on Sunday….except Ansel wanted to play outside, so I sent him and Yudi out of chores :)
Then for dinner time…Yudi cooked spaghetti bolognese ( he’s a chef for weekend only :p). Ansel ate his supper by himself..I didn’t even help him a bit. i was so surprise he did it well!!!

Too sunny to stay at home

August 3rd, 2005 by rajendra

I didn’t want to waste a sunny day by staying at home, so I took Ansel along to library at Watney market which is just 5 minutes by walk. I have always enjoy the  scenery along the way…Ansel was soo happy , he always pointed to each pigeons, cars, kids and aeroplane in the sky  he saw and said "uh-huh, buuhbu, tatahh" :p

In library, Ansel enjoyed his day too. He played with some kids in the play area and sometimes brought many books to me asked to read it.

After that, we walked out the library and went to shop…just bought a litre whole milk to make chocolate muffin and strawberry milkshake at home. Hmmm…….yummyyyy!!!!

I am so tireeeeeddddd…just got back from Birmingham..

Gosh…having a toddler means you can never have your home in shipshape. My petite living room can only be neat  and everything in order for 5 minutes or when my lil’boy ansel is taking a nap.:D

Hmm…when he’s up, it’s toy everywhere…pencil, pen, my cookery’s stuff are up side down on the couch or table…even though I always try to put them in a bucket but they won’t stay there for a long time..

This is actually my worst nightmare. Me being a very tidy person and sometimes have this compulsive cleaning behaviour..:p
So I always try to tidy up mess everytime but he always throwing everythings….

I guess I have to live with it until he’s old enough…..or go back to jakarta…:D

And now, My lil’ ansel is into habit  of hand drawing…when we went to Birmingham, he was sooo serious with his pencil and papers at the train…

He loves drawing..he would take any pencil he could find and start drawing…
I don’t know what will happen with my wallpaper…is it going to be a big drawing board????:P
